Before depositing at any online casino, take five minutes to read this checklist — it covers the steps most players skip.

Getting Ready

• Check the casino’s licensing and regulation. Stake operates under a Curacao license, which is common for international casinos. Note that winnings from Curacao-licensed casinos may be subject to local income tax depending on your country of residence, so consider this when planning your withdrawals.
• Verify the available payment methods. Stake supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies as well as traditional options like Visa and Mastercard. Ensure your preferred method is listed to avoid delays.
• Set a budget for your initial deposit. Most casinos, including Stake, offer a welcome bonus that matches a percentage of your first deposit, often up to a certain amount. Have a clear budget to maximize the bonus without overspending.
• Check the wagering requirements attached to the bonus. These are typically 35x to 40x the bonus amount. Make sure you understand how many times you need to wager before you can withdraw any bonus winnings.
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account for added security. Stake provides this feature, and it is highly recommended to protect your funds.
